With the introduction of the Max For Live interface (version 8 or higher), the concept of modularity was significantly expanded in 2009.

operator

The operator is a synthesizer based on FM synthesis , largely developed by Robert Henke.

The multisampler is an instrument that was released at the same time as Live 6.

Push

Push is a hardware controller for Live developed by Ableton and brought onto the market with Version 9 of Ableton Live. Ableton himself calls it an instrument. On November 2nd, 2015 Ableton presented the new version Push 2 with an improvement of the display and the pads, together with an update from Live to version 9.5.
