history

In 1994 Abschlach was founded by guitarist, composer and lyricist Henning Trolsen and drummer Michael Wendt, who also played in the hardcore band Vindicator. A practice room was available in Hamburg-Bramfeld . Joachim Eybe soon joined as a singer. After a couple of songs they split up again, too many professional and private commitments prevented regular work with the band. A demo cassette with two common titles ( 1000 miles and Hamburg Loyal Supporters ) appeared and circulated in Hamburger SV fan circles. When the Hamburger SV Supporters Club celebrated its tenth anniversary on Cap San Diego in the early summer of 2003 , the group appeared again. Together with the Hamburger Jungz and the Hamburg artist Lotto King Karl designed Abschlach! the evening with. For this purpose, Tom Einecke (Vindicator) joined the regular cast (Trolsen, Wendt) on bass and their school friend Boris Krohn from Hamburg-Harburg on lead guitar.

In addition to writing and composing, Trolsen took over the singing from then on. With this lineup was formed in July and August 2003, the first by Nino David ( raid , The fat policeman ) produced album 'Ne simple band on Michael Wendt's label WMP. In mid-2004, trumpeter Jan-Michel Deutsch joined the band as the fifth member of the band. As a result, Abschlach! S musical horizons were expanded to include more melodies and ska and reggae influences. With this line-up, several live shows followed, including with bands such as Pöbel & Gesocks , the Hamburger Jungz and Illo . In February 2005 the second album Runter ans Ufer was released , also on WMP / New Music. The production in the building site studio was taken over by Axel Dill (Ex- Abwärts ). In addition, a video clip of the song Mein Hamburg I love very much was produced by Tom Wendt (Erste Liebe Film GmbH) and integrated into the new album as a bonus. In June 2006 Slaughter changed! their cast. The previous drummer Wendt switched to singing and was supported by trumpeter Muchel. Jan became the new drummer. In March 2008, the third album Freunde was released on the market, produced by Olman Viper (Nullzwei Studios) and Arn Schlürmann (Little Bear Studio).

Henning Trolsen left the band in 2009. Tobias Heilmann (also a guitarist with Vindicator) joined the band as the new guitarist. The fourth album You will see us win! was released in January 2012 and rose from 0 to 6 in Media Control's Top 20 newcomer charts. After the exit of the drummer Jan, this album was already recorded with the new drummer Sven (Hamburger Jungz). In the spring of the same year, the first headlining tour took place across Germany.

In 2013 the band celebrated their 10th anniversary on stage together with the Hamburger Jungz and Elvis-HSV in the Markthalle Hamburg . This concert was recorded with eight cameras and was released on DVD in 2014 under the title 10 Years Live in Hamburg . Shortly before they played Abschlach! some support shows for the German rock band Veritas Maximus in Hamburg and Hanover.

At the end of 2015, after a good year, the fifth album, Meist kommts anders , was released in the zero-two studios in Hamburg and made it into the German Top 100 album charts for the first time in the band's history (99th place). style

Slaughter! plays punk rock with English influences and German lyrics. With the second album next ska and reggae influences were also metal - riffs added.

Mainly deals with Abschlach! Topics such as football and everything that goes with it, but also socially critical texts or songs about their hometown Hamburg are part of the program. They rarely take up political issues. In the song Rejected from the album Freunde they take a stand against any kind of extremism without positioning themselves in one direction.
