Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team
Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team is a sailing regatta team from the United Arab Emirates that has been participating in the Volvo Ocean Race since 2011 .

Before 2011
Until the completion of the Azzam , the team trained on the ABN AMRO TWO , which took part in the Volvo Ocean Race 2005-2006.
2011
The team's yacht, the Azzam , belongs to the VO70 class according to the regulations. She was designed by Bruce Farr and built at Persico SpA's shipyard in Italy. On July 6, 2011, the boat was presented to the public in Portofino .
2014
After a rule change, from 2014 all yachts participating in the Volvo Ocean Race must belong to the VO65 class. In 2014 the team's new yacht, again named Azzam , was completed.
Sponsors
The team's main and title sponsor is the Abu Dhabi Tourism Association , the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority . The team is also supported by IWC Schaffhausen.
