Achterbahn is a documentary film by Peter Dörfler from 2009 . The film depicts the life of showman family Witte and was on the 59th International Film Festival shown in Berlin. The cinema release in Germany was July 2nd, 2009.

The life of the Witte family is portrayed in this film, from the beginning as a showman to current events. Beginning with activities at fairgrounds in Germany, Southern and Eastern Europe, the film focuses on the re-establishment of the Berlin Spree Park and the failed emigration to Peru . Norbert and Marcel Witte were arrested in Germany and Peru, respectively, on the basis of uncovered drug deals. While Norbert Witte has meanwhile been released from prison, his son Marcel is still sentenced to 20 years in prison in Lima. Despite efforts in Germany and a trip to Peru by Pia and Sabrina Witte accompanied by the film team, there are no signs that the son will be released early or extradited to Germany.
