Adam Baldauf
Adam Baldauf (* 1580 in Meran , South Tyrol ; † 1631 in Vienna ) was a South Tyrolean sculptor.
Adam Baldauf is likely to have completed his apprenticeship in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria . Resident as a master craftsman in Linz in 1611, Baldauf moved to Brixen in 1615 , where he was accepted as a resident in 1620 . 1628 by Emperor Ferdinand III. (HRR) or Ferdinand II (HRR) called to Vienna, where he made altars at the university church .
According to Nicolò Rasmo, one of his pupils was Christian Trebinger from St. Jakob / Ortisei in Val Gardena , the first known wood carver from Val Gardena , another was Johann Worath .

- 1616 Cassian altar for the Bressanone Cathedral , now in the Diocesan Museum Bressanone (Martyrdom of St. Cassian).
- 1616–1618 high altar in Rodeneck.
- 1621 rosary altar and 1626–1628 facade Madonna of Brixen Cathedral.
