Adam Michael Rodríguez (born April 2, 1975 in Yonkers , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Adam Rodriguez is Cuban / Puerto Rican and has a younger sister. He originally wanted to be a baseball player, but had to give up this childhood dream because of a spinal injury.

At the age of ten, he had his first casting for The Bill Cosby Show . He took a liking to acting at the age of 19 in college when he was taking a drama course, but he was just starting out as a stockbroker. Roles at Law & Order and Roswell followed . From 2002 to 2012 he played diving, drug and fingerprint expert Eric “Delko” Delektorsky in the crime series CSI: Miami . In 2016, he starred as Agent Luke Alvez at the beginning of the twelfth season of Criminal Minds . In the 13th season he also took over directing the series for the first time for episode 16.

He has also appeared in music videos such as If You Had My Love by Jennifer Lopez , Yes We Can by will.i.am , Many Men by 50 Cent and I Call It Love by Lionel Richie .

Rodriguez keeps his private life a secret.
