Adam von Weyherr

Adam von Weyherr (* 1683 ; † December 10, 1744 at Gut Sieten near Teltow ) was a Prussian major general , chief of garrison regiment No. 5 and governor of the Altmark . He was Drost von Bochum and heir of Schmuckentin , Wulchow and Cölpin .

Life

His parents were Christian von Weyherr and his wife Elisabeth von Iwatzhof. His father was the heir to Mulkenthin , Storckow and Parlin .

Military career

He was a major in the body regiment of King Friedrich Wilhelm I when he was appointed Drost von Wetter in 1725 . He rose to the rank of colonel and commander of the regiment. On June 8, 1723, he received the Grandhof , Streckenthin and Cölpin, Gervin and Pribbernow goods from the king . They had already fallen to the king in 1719 through the death of Christoph Friedrich von Manteufel . On March 8, 1739 he was appointed governor of the Altmark. With the reorganization of the military under the new King Friedrich II , he was promoted to major general on June 23, 1740. In addition he received the garrison battalion No. 5, which was increased from older grenadiers of the Potsdam Giant Guard . It received its headquarters in Acken near Magdeburg .

He died on December 10, 1744 at what was then Schlabbrendorffschen Gut Siethen during a trip from Magdeburg to Berlin.

family

In 1738 he married Charlotte Sabine von Schlabbrendorff. He had several daughters with her. His wife inherited a sizable fortune after his death. His daughters include:
