Adelmo Bulgarelli (born March 23, 1932 in Modena , † July 20, 1984 ) was an Italian wrestler and winner of the bronze medal in the heavyweight division in Greco-Roman. Style at the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 .

Career

Adelmo Bulgarelli grew up in Modena and started wrestling there as a teenager. He concentrated on the Greco-Roman. The Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 were the highlight of Adelmo Bulgarelli's career . Bulgarelli had meanwhile moved up to the heavyweight division. In the preliminary rounds he defeated u. a. the multiple world champion Bertil Antonsson from Sweden , but could not do anything in the final matches against Wilfried Dietrich from the Federal Republic of Germany and Anatoli Parfenow from the USSR , but won the bronze medal.

Bulgarelli also started at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 and Tokyo in 1964 , but did not come close to medals.
