Adolf Döhring

Adolf Döhring (born March 3, 1843 in Mohrungen , † May 10, 1920 in Berlin ) was a German judge, member of parliament and synodal in Prussia.

Life

Döhring studied law at the Albertus University . On November 2, 1862 , he renounced the Corps Baltia Königsberg . After taking part in the German War in 1866 , he passed the auscultation examination in 1867 and the legal trainee examination in 1869. In the Franco-Prussian War he fought with the Grenadier Regiment "King Wilhelm I." (2nd West Prussian) No. 7 . As a lieutenant, he distinguished himself in the battle of Saint-Quentin for his great bravery, decisive in the battle . Very unusual for a reserve officer , he received both classes of the Iron Cross . In ignorance of Döhring's corps membership, Walter Bloem reports on the events in Schmiede der Zukunft . After he had passed the assessor examination in 1872, Döhring came to the court chamber in 1873 . Since December 1876 government assessor , he was transferred to the Mogilno district in the province of Poznan as district administrator . Since Easter 1877 in the same capacity at the district Marienburg (West Prussia) , he was there in the fall of 1877 District . As a senior government councilor he came to the ministerial building commission in Berlin. For the constituency Danzig 1 ( Elbing - Marienburg ) he sat in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1885 . In 1890 he became chairman of the Gdansk Administrative Court with the title of Administrative Court Director. He gave up his mandate and became a member of the Provincial and General Synod . In 1909 he retired. As a major in the Landwehr a. D. he served in Berlin at the age of 73 in the patriotic auxiliary service.
