Adolf Friedrich Reinhard
Adolf Friedrich Reinhard (born January 19, 1726 in Strelitz ; † August 6, 1783 in Wetzlar ) was a German lawyer and publicist.
The son of a councilor and lawyer studied law and theology in Thorn and Halle . In 1748 Reinhard became secretary of the law firm in Neustrelitz. In 1770 Duke Friedrich von Mecklenburg appointed him professor at the University of Bützow . In 1779 he was appointed to the Imperial Court of Justice in Wetzlar. Then he received the imperial title of nobility.
In his journalism Reinhard polemicized against Lessing , Herder , Wieland , Klopstock and Alexander Pope as well as against Leibniz and Christian Wolff .
