Adolf Giele

Adolf Giele (born December 17, 1929 in Stuhm ; † May 29, 2002 ) was a German handball player and coach.

Life

Giele played at SC Victoria Hamburg .

He was in the joint squad of the German Handball Federation and the German Handball Association at the World Cup (WM) 1954 (2nd place), the World Cup 1958 (3rd place) and the 1961 World Cup (4th place).

In 1973 Giele was assistant coach of the German men's national handball team and supervisor of the B national team. In 1977 he was the coach of the Kuwait national handball team .
