Kuwaiti men's national handball team

The Kuwaiti men's national handball team represents Kuwait in international tournaments in Men Handball .

The team was a total of three Asian champions (most recently in 2004 ) and has taken part in handball world championships seven times . The best placement was achieved with 15th place at the 1982 World Cup in Germany .

At the handball world championship 2009 in Croatia the team finished 6th in group B in the preliminary round. In the President's Cup 1, the team finished 5th with a win against Australia (27:24). Then it was about 21st place against Brazil . Kuwait lost this game 24:27 and finished 22nd.

The team is trained by Nabeel Alshehab .
