South Korean men's national handball team
The South Korean men's national handball team represents South Korea in international tournaments in Men Handball .
The team has taken part in handball world championships (WM) eleven times so far , the best placement they achieved with eighth place at the 1997 World Cup in Japan .
South Korea was the first non-European nation to reach the final of a global competition ( World Cup or Olympics ) ( Olympia 1988 in its own country ).
