Adolf Mutzenbecher

Ernst Friedrich Adolf Mutzenbecher , also Adolph (born May 19, 1834 in Oldenburg ; † March 9, 1896 in Eutin ) was a German administrative lawyer and district president for the Principality of Lübeck in the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg .

Life

Adolf Mutzenbecher came from the Oldenburg branch of the Hamburg merchant family Mutzenbecher and was a son of the Oldenburg regional president Friedrich Mutzenbecher . Wilhelm Mutzenbecher was his older brother. He attended the Oldenburg grammar school until his Abitur in 1855 and studied law at the universities of Heidelberg , Berlin and Göttingen until 1858 . After completing his studies, he entered the Oldenburg civil service. He initially worked in the ministerial chancellery and in 1867 was entrusted with the administration of the Wildeshausen office . In 1869 he went to the Department of the Interior at the government in Oldenburg.

In 1871 he became a government assessor in the government of the Principality of Lübeck in Eutin. After being used again in the Department of the Interior from 1881 onwards, he was appointed District President in Eutin on May 1, 1891. He held this office until his death.

He remained unmarried.
