Ernst Zeidler

Ernst August Zeidler (born May 4, 1884 in Oldenburg ; † October 26, 1939 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life and work

Zeidler was born as the son of the wine merchant Otto Wilhelm Zeidler (1840–1899) and his wife Anna Mathilde born. Lange (1844–1909) was born. He grew up in Oldenburg and attended the old grammar school here . In 1907 he began studying law , which he completed by 1912 with two state exams. In November 1912 he was employed as an assessor at the Vechta office in the civil service of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg . In the First World War he did military service from 1914 to 1918 . During this time he received his appointment as a civil servant on October 20, 1915 and was assigned to the regional council of the Principality of Lübeck , an exclave in Holstein belonging to Oldenburg . The service in Eutin he took after the war on, was initially Regierungsassessor, 1921 Governing Council and from 1928 Senior Government.
