Adolf Ritter von Neuffer (born September 30, 1845 in Regensburg , † April 24, 1924 in Karlsruhe ) was a Bavarian administrative officer.

Life

Adolf von Neuffer studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg . In 1863 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Munich . In 1871 he became an accessist in the government of the Upper Palatinate . On May 29, 1877, he married Wilhelmine von Auer, the niece of Julius von Auer , who later became President of the Palatinate government . In 1881 he became a government assessor in the government of Upper Bavaria . In 1887 he was transferred to the government of Swabia under promotion to the government council. In 1895 he came back to the government of Upper Bavaria. The following year he was transferred to the government of Middle Franconia as a government director . From 1902 to 1918 von Neuffer was district president of the Palatinate (Bavaria) .

From Neuffer was Chairman of the Association of the Palatinate Historical Museum and the Historical Society of the Palatinate . The city of Speyer granted him honorary citizenship in 1909. He carried the honorary title of excellence .
