Adolph Langer

Adolph Carl Josef Gregor Langer (born November 16, 1862 in Ziegenhals , † January 8, 1940 in Viersen ) was a Catholic clergyman and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Langer attended elementary school from 1868 to 1874 and the grammar school in Neisse from 1874 to 1883 and the University of Breslau from 1883 to 1887. In 1887 he was ordained a priest and until 1889 was chaplain in Frankenstein . Then he was pastor of Eberswalde and military chaplain of Angermünde until 1892 . From 1892 he was pastor of Bärwalde and then of Martha bei Frankenstein.

From 1895 to 1902 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 to 1902 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Breslau District 13 Frankenstein , Münsterberg and the German Center Party . In 1902 Langer resigned and entered a monastery.
