Adrian Cunningham

Adrian Cunningham (* around 1980) is an Australian musician ( tenor saxophone , clarinet , also flute , composition ) of modern and mainstream jazz .

Live and act

After graduating with honors from the Sydney Conservatory of Music, Cunningham worked as a jazz clarinetist, initially on the Sydney jazz scene; first recordings were made in 2000 when he played for John Morrison & Swing City. In 2004 he released his debut album Unspoken and toured with his own band. In the following years he played a. a. with Galapagos Duck and the Sydney All Star Big Band , with Dan Barnett , Ingrid James, and Christine Reisner and performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival . After visiting America, he moved to New York City in 2008, where he worked in the Baby Soda Jazz Band and from 2010 with musicians such as Wycliffe Gordon , René Marie , Bria Skonberg , Nicki Parrott , Bob Merrill and in the Ken Peplowski Big Band. In the field of jazz, he was involved in 30 recording sessions between 2000 and 2017, according to Tom Lord .
