Adrian Enescu

Adrian Enescu (born March 31, 1948 in Bucharest ; † August 19, 2016 ) was a Romanian composer , conductor and music producer .

Life

Adrian Enescu studied composition and harmony at the National Music University in Bucharest under musicians such as Aurel Stroe and Alexandru Paşcanu in the 1970s . From 1985 to 1986 he also spent an academic year at Stanford University , where he studied electronic music. He then began to work as a composer and conductor for theater and ballet. He was responsible for the music of many performances by the Italian ballet dancer Liliana Cosi . He worked nationally in Romania as well as internationally in Russia, Italy, Belgium, France and Australia. He later produced several music albums, including for the Romanian musicians Silvia Dumitrescu and Loredana Groza .

Enescu has also composed film music since the mid-1970s. So he showed himself responsible for the music for films like Tell me what your name is , We'll rock the child and Thalassa, Thalassa - Return to the Sea , where he worked with film directors like Mircea Veroiu , Sergiu Nicolaescu , Bogdan Dumitrescu and Dan Pita worked together.
