Adrian Ioan Sălăgeanu (born April 9, 1983 in Carei ) is a Romanian football player . The defender has been under contract with Oțelul Galați since summer 2017 .
Career
The career of Sălăgeanu began in 2001 with Olimpia Satu Mare in Divizia B . During the 2001/02 season he was able to fight for a regular place. With his team he played for promotion to Divizia A in the following years . At the end of the 2003/04 season he was two points behind CFR Cluj in third place of his season.
In the winter break of 2004/05, the first division team Gloria Bistrița Sălăgeanu brought into the upper house. There he could not prevail, however, and left the club in the summer of 2006 back to League 2 to CS Dacia Mioveni . Here he only made six appearances in the first half of the season and moved to Someșul Satu Mare in League 3 .
At the beginning of 2008, the first division took Oțelul Galați Sălăgeanu under contract. This change turned out to be a stroke of luck. He found his strength back and became a regular player. After an eighth place at the end of the 2009/10 season , he and his team won the Romanian championship in the 2010/11 season under coach Dorinel Munteanu , thereby qualifying for the Champions League . In summer 2012 he moved to league rivals FC Vaslui . In early 2014, his contract in Vaslui was dissolved and he was without a club for six months before promoted ASA Târgu Mureş signed him. There he only made two appearances in the first half of the 2014/15 season . During the winter break he returned to Olimpia Satu Mare.
In Satu Mare it was initially used regularly. He was used five times in the 2015/16 season . In the summer of 2016 he left the club and joined SV Moosbach in the Upper Forest district class in Bavaria. In the summer of 2017, he returned to Romania, where his former club O früherelul Galați signed him, who now played in League III.
National team
In February 2011 national coach Răzvan Lucescu Sălăgeanu appointed for the first time in the squad of the Romanian national team for a tournament in Cyprus. In the game against the hosts , he played his only international match so far.
