Aedin Mincks

Aedin Mincks (born October 12, 2000 in Georgia ) is an American actor . He was best known for his role as Angus Chestnut in ANT: Achtung Natur-Talente and also as Robert in the film Ted .

life and career

Aedin Mincks was born in Georgia, USA , in October 2000, the youngest of three children. His older brother Austin is also an actor. At the age of five years Minck moved with his family to California , having previously in a few years Illinois had lived. He took an interest in acting when he was around six years old after his brother Austin started appearing at casting agencies. After a few commercials , he made his acting debut in an episode of the comedy series The Sarah Silverman Program in 2008 . This was followed by other guest appearances in series such as Emergency Room - Die Notaufnahme and Desperate Housewives .

In 2010 he had a major supporting role in the action film Faster as the son of Billy Bob Thornton's character for the first time. In 2011 he played 12-year-old Alan Garner ( Zach Galifianakis ) in the comedy film Hangover 2 , as well as a younger version of Schmidt ( Max Greenfield ) in an episode of the series New Girl . In the same year he was hired for the supporting role of Angus Chestnut in the Disney Channel broadcast youth series A.NT: Attention nature talents . For the third and final season he was promoted to lead actor. In total, he was seen in 49 episodes of the series. During his role in ANT , he took on an important supporting role in Seth MacFarlane's comedy film Ted in 2012 as the son of Giovanni Ribisi's character.
