action

Special forces soldier Pepper is severely traumatized after his recent mission in Afghanistan . He keeps hearing the voice of his brother Jonathan, who has disappeared there, and suffers from delusions. One day, CIA agent Cooper visits him and offers him one last unofficial mission to Afghanistan. Together with the British agent Nash and three of his former companions, he is supposed to bring the gang leader Amad from Afghanistan to Pakistan . After Cooper offers him $ 150,000, Pepper agrees and rounds up his comrades JT, Joey and Frank.

After arriving in Pakistan, after minor skirmishes, they advance to Amad and take him and his wife Soroya with them. Since the way back to Pakistan seems too dangerous, they choose the route to Uzbekistan . On the way they stop so that Nash can relieve himself. However, this is exactly where the last stand in Afghanistan took place, where Jonathan disappeared. Due to a rockfall, they have to escape into a cave. Scary things are happening there. From time to time a veiled figure appears to the soldiers. When Frank is found dead with a missing liver, the special unit panics. But suddenly Jonathan appears. He says that he was captured by the Taliban at the time. However, he seems strangely distant and is now fluent in Fārsī. A little later, Amad burns to death without any noticeable external influence and JT runs in a panic against the cave wall, causing fatal head injuries. Joey and Soroya run away. Then Jonathan reveals to Pepper that he is not his brother, but the ghost of Genghis Khan . The murders were all committed by Pepper, but he was not in his senses and was controlled by Genghis Khan. After Jonathan sinks lifeless to the ground, the rescue team arrives outside with Cooper. Cooper had planned everything to get hold of the valuable relics of Khan that would give him unrestricted power. Pepper lures him to the cave, but then removes the rope from the cave entrance and leaves him to his fate.

The helicopters eventually fly away with the survivors.

criticism

"Failed action film with fantasy elements, which is not satisfied with real conflicts, but also mixes the dreaded Khan among the real, highly armed warlords."

“No one less than Genghis Khan raises his musty head and heats up a US special unit when in this naive bastard of action blasts and mystery thriller a heroic flag of American special agents awakens ancient powers in the Afghan cave labyrinth, as if the Taliban and warlords were alone would not be enough. TV SF series star Steve Bacic ('Andromeda') plays the lead role, and Michael Madsen picks up a few grunts in a moderate pastime for action-all viewers. "
