Agata Forkasiewicz (born January 13, 1994 in Wroclaw ) is a Polish sprinter .

Athletic career

Agata Forkasiewicz gained his first international experience in 2015 at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn . In the 100-meter run she made it to the finals, where she finished eighth in 11.98 s. Over 200 meters she was eliminated in the preliminary round with 23.83 s and in the 4 x 100 meter relay she reached fifth place in 44.54 s. She was also a runner in the Polish relay at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing , which was eliminated in the preliminary round. In 2016 she took part in the 60-meter run at the World Indoor Championships in Portland , but missed promotion to the semi-finals there in 7.45 s. At the European Championships in Amsterdam she competed in the 200-meter run and was eliminated there with 23.59 s in the semi-finals. With the season she achieved seventh place in the final in 43.24 s.

In 2017 she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade over 60 meters and was eliminated there with 7.46 seconds in the semifinals. At the World Student Games in Taipei she won the silver medal with the Polish team in 44.19 s and was eliminated in the semi-finals over 200 meters with 24.10 s. Two years later she took part again in the Summer Universiade in Naples , where she retired over 100 meters with 11.98 s in the lead and was disqualified with the relay in the final.

In 2015 and 2017 Forkasiewicz was Polish champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
