Agendorf is a village and part of the municipality of Steinach in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen in the Agendorf district .

Former municipality Agendorf

With the regional reform in Bavaria , the former municipality Agendorf from the Straubing district lost its independence and was largely incorporated into the Steinach municipality on July 1, 1974. The districts of Muckenwinkling and Trudendorf were incorporated into the former municipality of Oberalteich , which was incorporated into the town of Bogen on January 1, 1978 .

Places of the former municipality

Of the originally twelve places in the municipality, Hoeramoos was given up after 1885 and before 1900, Sackhof came to Steinach from the Agendorf municipality in 1956. Wolfsberg only became a formal part of the community in the 1970s.
