action

Jack Chenault works for the secret service, but his job only involves light office work. Then he of all people is given the task of stopping the mad researcher Marcus Valorium. He stole a sophisticated device that allows him to reduce everything to miniature size. That hits first a huge supercomputer from NASA , which the insane genius has stolen in this way. Controlled with it and with a satellite as a reflector, every point on earth can then be reached with the shrinkage beam and the world can be blackmailed with it.

Valorium's next destination is the United States of America. As a show of force, he has an old aircraft carrier serving as a target ship miniaturized to the size of a model ship and also shrunk some nuclear missile silos . Eventually, the villain threatens to downsize the Hoover Dam and cause a devastating flood disaster. With the help of his colleague Paige Tannehill, Chenault manages at the last minute to align the satellite so that the reflected beam hits and destroys the observatory serving as Valorium's headquarters .

criticism

“The secret service hires a small employee from the back office to retrieve a missing electronic super brain. Soon he comes across a megalomaniac scientist who can reduce the largest objects to the size of a matchbox. This is a tolerably entertaining parody made for television of the plot patterns and effects of the agent films à la James Bond. "

background

The film was shot in Houston , Los Angeles and the Burbank Studios in Burbank , California . The Lick Observatory of the University of California with one of the largest telescopes in the world served as the backdrop for the projector of the shrink radiator.
