Agunda Kulajewa ( Russian Агунда Кулаева , also transcribed Agunda Kulaeva , born on December 29, 1975 in Ordzhonikidze ) is a Russian mezzo-soprano who sings mostly at the Novaya Opera and the Bolshoi in Moscow .

life and work

Kulayeva studied at the Rachmaninov Conservatory in Rostov-on-Don and completed her training as a choir conductor in 2000 , later also as a singer . In 2005 she was at the Galina Vishnevskaya Center for Opera Singing ( Центр оперного пения Галины Вишневской graduated), where they the Siébel in Gounod Faust , the Ljubascha in Rimsky-Korsakov's The Tsar's Bride , the Maddalena in Verdi's Rigoletto and sang some concerts.

In April 2014, it has appeared with great success as Ljubascha under a Bolshoi guest appearance in concert at the Theater an der Wien , it conducted Gennady Rozhdestvensky .
