Agustín Roberto Radrizzani SDB (born September 22, 1944 ) is an Argentine religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Mercedes-Luján .

Life

After joining the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco on January 5, 1968 , he was ordained a priest on March 25, 1972 .

On May 14, 1991, he was appointed Bishop of Neuquén by Pope John Paul II . He received on 20 July 1991 by his Salesian confreres Argimiro Moure Piñeiro , Bishop of Comodoro Rivadavia , the episcopal ordination . Co- consecrators were the Old Bishop of Neuquén, Jaime de Nevares SDB, and the Bishop of San Justo , Jorge Meinvielle SDB. The inauguration took place on August 17th.

On April 24, 2001 he was appointed Bishop of Lomas de Zamora and on June 23, 2001, he was appointed to the office. Six years later he was on December 27, 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Archbishop of Mercedes-Luján.

On October 4, 2019, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
