The ahg car mbH with headquarters in Horb am Neckar is an automobile trade company. With more than 30 locations in Baden-Württemberg and more than 1,800 employees, ahg is one of the ten largest car trading groups in Germany.

Ahg stocks the brands BMW , MINI , Alpina , Land Rover and Peugeot . The subsidiary bhg offers vehicles, parts and services for the brands Volkswagen , Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles , Audi and Škoda . 18 of its own driving schools are integrated into the group of companies .

History and structure

Ahg was founded in 1986 in Eutingen im Gäu as part of a trading company for agricultural machinery. In 1987 ahg moved to Horb into the building that still exists today at Weberstrasse 13.

In the course of the growth, numerous car dealerships of the brands BMW , MINI , Land Rover and Peugeot were taken over. So in Balingen (1988), Calw (1993), Schramberg (1999), Freudenstadt (2000), Rottenburg , Eningen (both 2001), Pforzheim , Mühlacker (both 2004), Donaueschingen (2005), St. Georgen , Baden-Baden , Sinzheim (all 2006), Jettingen (2008), Spaichingen , Tuttlingen , Offenburg (all 2009), Achern and Lahr (both 2010) and Albstadt (2018).

In 2010, bhg was founded, the subsidiary with the brands Volkswagen , Audi , Škoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles . The ahg Group has bhg operations in Kehl (from 2010), Reutlingen (2010), Bopfingen (2013), Albstadt , Balingen , Rottweil (all 2013), Pfullingen (2014), Freudenstadt and Freiburg (both 2015).

The training and further education of the employees takes place next to and after the apprenticeship in a separate academy, which offers an educational offer.
