Ahrenberg is a district of Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the Werra-Meißner district in northern Hesse .
geography
The place is located at an altitude of 223 m about one kilometer northwest of the core town of Bad Sooden-Allendorf, but there is no direct road connection there. The only road leads from Ahrenberg to the northern neighboring town of Ellershausen . Due to its secluded location, the village is a popular destination for Sooden spa guests.

On September 1, 1970 Ahrenberg was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on a voluntary basis in the town of Bad Sooden-Allendorf incorporated .
