Kammerbach is a district of Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the Werra-Meißner district in northern Hesse .
geography
Kammerbach is located 4.3 km west of the core town of Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the geo-nature park Frau-Holle-Land (Werratal.Meißner.Kaufunger Wald) at about 300 m above sea level. NHN . To the west of the village lies the Hohlstein (Kammerbacher Höhle, Hilgershäuser Höhle) , the largest cave area in Hesse. The Roßkopf ( 482.4 m ) rises north-northeast .
In the district of Kammerbach, about two kilometers southwest of the village, on the left, western bank of the Ottersbach is the Burgstall Wasserburg Ottersbach , from which the remains of the moat can still be seen, as well as the deserted Ottersbach near the former castle .
