Aimas Fiščevas (born February 9, 1994 in Elektrėnai ) is a Lithuanian ice hockey player who has been playing for SC Energija Elektrėnai in the Wysschaja Liga , the second highest Belarusian league, since 2014 .

Career

Clubs

Aimas Fiščevas began his career in the youth field with the Lithuanian record champions SC Energija Elektrėnai . He left his hometown as a 16-year-old and played for one year in the second team of HK Nyoman Hrodna in the Vysschaya League , the second highest Belarusian league. When the second tier of the multinational junior league was founded in 2011 with the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga B , he went back to Lithuania to play in this division at Baltica Vilnius. At the beginning of 2014, he moved back to his home club Energija Elektrėnai, for which he has since played in the Wysschaja Liga , the second-highest Belarusian league.

International

For Lithuania Fiščevas already took part in the junior world championships. He was the most successful goalscorer in Group B with nine goals at the Division II tournament of the U18 World Cup in 2011 , after having participated in the U-World Cup in Division I the year before but relegated with the Lithuanian team. Also in the U-20 juniors he had to accept relegation from Division I when he first participated in 2011 and was then on the ice in 2012 , 2013 , when he was named the best player of his team, and 2014 in Division II.

He made his debut in the Lithuanian men's national team at the World Cup in Division I in 2013 , when the Lithuanians were only able to avoid relegation to Division II with a 12-3 victory in the decisive game against Estonia . Fiščevas scored six goals in this game, including the hits to equalize 3: 3 and lead to 4: 3, which turned the game in favor of his team. With these six goals he was the top scorer of the tournament together with the Ukrainian Roman Blahyj and the Estonian Aleksei Sibirtsev . In 2014 , 2016 and 2017 he was also on the ice for the Lithuanians in Division I. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 and the Baltic Cup 2017.
