Aimee-Ffion Edwards (born November 21, 1987 in Newport , Wales ) is a British actress .

Life

Aimee-Ffion Edwards was born in 1987 in the South Welsh port city of Newport and speaks fluent Welsh in addition to English . Before starting her actual film career, she took classical singing training. At the age of 15 she made her debut in the Welsh short film Dŵr Dwfn and appeared on the 2006 Welsh TV show Wawffactor . She made her stage debut in 2008 in SH * TM * X at Trafalgar Studios in London . She gained further notoriety in 2008 through her role as a sketch in the television series Skins - Hautnah . She became known in German-speaking countries for the role of prostitute Jenny Jones in the BBC crime series Luther, broadcast on ZDF in 2012 .
