nature

The Aiterbach valley near Steinhaus

The Aiterbach, which mostly flows away from larger settlements, is largely natural in its entire course, with meandering courses in places, wood along the banks or alluvial forests ( ash or ash, black alder and wet forests).

The wet meadows that accompany it in parts represent a habitat for wet meadow dwellers such as marsh grasshoppers or long-winged sword insects.

The Aiterbach counts for trout and grayling region, mainly fish species are brown trout and rainbow trout in the lower reaches of the grayling .
