Akbaş ( Turkish for Weisshaupt ) is a village in the Honaz district of the Turkish province of Denizli . Akbaş is located about 43 km east of the provincial capital Denizli and 22 km southeast of Honaz. According to the last census, Akbaş had 778 inhabitants (as of December 2010).
