Alain Mottet
Alain Mottet (born December 30, 1928 in Lyon , † October 31, 2017 in Paris ) was a French actor .
Life
Alain Mottet started out as an actor in the mid-1950s with Roger Planchon . In 1957 he was instrumental in the creation of Arthur Adamov's Paolo Paoli . He also played in Michel Vinaver's first play The Koreans . Mottet played under Marcel Camus and Marcelle Tassencourt and was directed by Jean Le Poulain , Roger Planchon, André Barsacq and Georges Wilson . From 1986 to 1988 he was a member of the Comédie-Française . Alain Mottet was best known on television for the role of Inspector Flambart in the television series Vidocq (1967). In the 1970 TV adaptation of Supervielles Shéhérazade, he played Shazenian, who is in love with the heroine Sheherazade ( Claude Jade ), who escapes through the night sky with her on a flying horse. Mottet played the missing scientist Hamblain in the Franco-German series The Great Secret . In the cinema, Mottet was seen in supporting roles, for example as a camp commandant alongside Lino Ventura in Jean-Pierre Melville's Army in the Shade (1969).
On October 31, 2017, Mottet and his wife, actress Françoise Hirsch , committed suicide .
