Alan Carlos Gomes da Costa (born February 22, 1983 in the Flamengo district of Rio de Janeiro , Brazil), usually just called Alanzinho for short , is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Alanzinho started his career in the youth team of Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . In 2001 he made his debut in the Brazilian League for the first time. After two seasons at Flamengo, Alanzinho moved to America FC (RJ) . Here, as well as a season later at SE Gama , he was not used.

In 2005 the Brazilian moved to Stabæk Fotball in Norway . With Stabæk, Alanzinho became Norwegian champions in 2008 and was one of the team's key players. Alanzinho was voted best player in the league in 2008. In the same and the previous season he was voted the best midfielder of the season.

In January 2009 Trabzonspor signed him at the request of the coach Ersun Yanal . The Turkish club paid a transfer fee of 3.9 million euros for the midfielder .

After Alanzinho had not played a major role under new coach Mustafa Reşit Akçay and was only substituted on sporadically, he was not taken to the 2013/14 winter training camp. The club management informed him that they would no longer plan with him and asked him to find a new club. At the end of January 2014, Alanzinho said goodbye to his teammates and then left Trabzon.

For the 2014/15 season Alanzinho moved to the Turkish first division club Balıkesirspor . In the next winter break he moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor .

With the end of his contract with Gaziantep BB in summer 2016, Alanzinho left Turkey after seven years and returned to his former club Stabæk Fotball.
