The Adeccoligaen 2005 was the 43rd season of the second highest Norwegian football league and the first under the name Adeccoligaen . The season started on April 10th and ended on October 30th, 2005.

Master Stabæk Fotball and the Second Sandefjord Fotball went straight to the Tippeligaen. The third placed Moss FK still had the chance in the relegation against the third from bottom of the Tippeligaen , but lost both games.

The last four teams FK Mandalskameratene, Skeid Oslo, FK Tønsberg and Alta IF were relegated to the 2nd divisjon .
