The Adeccoligaen 2009 was the 47th season of the second highest Norwegian football league and the fifth under the name Adeccoligaen . The season started on April 5th and ended on November 1st, 2009.

Master FK Haugesund and the second Hønefoss BK rose directly into the Tippeligaen. The teams in places three to five played the fourth climber with the fourteenth of the Tippeligaen 2009 .

The last four teams Ham-Kam, Notodden FK, Stavanger IF and Skeid Oslo were relegated to the fair play leagues.
