The Adeccoligaen 2012 was the 50th overall playing time of the second highest Norwegian football league and the eighth under the name Adeccoligaen . The season began on April 9, 2012 and ended on November 11, 2012. The promotion round and relegation games took place from November 14 to 24, 2012.

Master Kristiansand and the second Sarpsborg rose in the Tippeligaen . The last four teams from Tromsdalen, Bærum , Notodden and Alta relegated to the 2nd division . The winner of the promotion round still had the chance to rise against the 14th of the Tippeligaen.
