The 2. divisjon 1975 was the 13th season of the second highest Norwegian football league .

mode

A total of 36 teams were divided into four groups. In groups A and B, ten teams each played that did not come from the north of the country. The two group winners were promoted to the 1st division. The runners-up in group A and B played together with the winner of district group IX-X from the third climber. The last two teams were relegated to the 3rd divisjon.

Eight teams from the provinces of Nordland , Helgeland and Troms , as well as eight teams from the province of Finnmark in District XI, played in District Group IX-X . The two winners qualified for the northern Norwegian final.
