Alberstedt is a district of the municipality Farnstädt in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).

history

In a register of the tithe of the monastery of Hersfeld ( Hersfeld tithe list ), which was created between 881 and 899, Alberstedt is mentioned as a place of tithe of Alberestat in Friesenfeld .

Alberstädt was an earlier spelling of the place name. Since 1816 the place was in the Mansfeld lake district of the Prussian province of Saxony . In 1822 352 residents lived here in 63 houses, which until 1848 were subordinate to the Prince's Patrimonial Court of the Schraplau Office . At that time Alberstedt owned 21 acres of gardens, 97 Hufen, 28 5/8 acres of arable land and 58 cables.

From 2005 to 2009 Alberstedt was part of the Weida-Land administrative association . Alberstedt was an independent municipality until it was incorporated into Farnstädt on January 1, 2010. The last mayor of Alberstedt was Rudolf Bernhardt.

Transport links

Since December 2008 Alberstedt can be reached via the Südharzautobahn A 38 Leipzig – Göttingen, from the west via the exit Rothenschirmbach and from the east via the exit Querfurt. To the west of Alberstedt, the federal highway 180 runs from Hettstedt to Naumburg (Saale) .
