Albert Frick (politician)

Albert Frick (born October 21, 1948 in Schaan ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( FBP ) and has been a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament since 2009 .

biography

Frick was a member of the Schaan municipal council for the Progressive Citizens' Party from 1991 to 2011 . There he was FBP parliamentary group spokesman from 1995 until he left the local council in 2011, and from 2003 to 2007 he also held the office of vice chairman of Schaan.

In February 2009 , Frick was elected to the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the first time for his party. He was re-elected in February 2013 and February 2017 . As a Member of Parliament, he has been President of the State Parliament since 2013 . He is also a member of various bodies, such as the Foreign Policy Commission from 2009 to 2013 as a member and since 2013 as chairman. He has been head of the delegation in the Liechtenstein delegation to the Parliamentary Commission on Lake Constance since 2013. He was a member of the Liechtenstein delegation in the parliamentary committees of the EFTA and EEA states from 2009 to 2013 and was head of the delegation from 2013 to 2014. He took over from Harry Quaderer in 2013 , before he was finally replaced by Elfried Hasler himself in 2014 .

In addition to his political activities, Frick worked as a school sports inspector for the education authority of the Principality of Liechtenstein. He is widowed and has three children.
