Albert Neckenauer

Albert Neckenauer (born April 3, 1921 in Mannheim ; † July 18, 1998 ) was a German local politician.

Career

Neckenauer attended the Lessing Gymnasium in Mannheim from 1931 to 1939. After national labor service and military service, he studied law and political science in Heidelberg from 1946 to 1949. In 1953 he began his professional career as a government assessor at the Tauberbischofsheim district office and at the regional council of North Baden in Karlsruhe. In 1956 he became a councilor and in 1959 a senior councilor. In 1961 he became the first state official at the Mannheim district office , where he became government director in 1966. From 1970 to 1972 he was district administrator of the district of Mannheim and after its dissolution in the course of administrative reform from 1973 to 1986 the first elected district administrator of the newly formed Rhein-Neckar district . In 1986 he retired.
