Albert Reuter

Albert Reuter (born April 21, 1926 in Dainbach ; † October 16, 2012 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and completing an administrative apprenticeship at the employment office in Bad Mergentheim from 1941 to 1943, Reuter's résumé was followed by Reich Labor Service , Navy and POW from 1943 to 1945 . He then worked for the employment offices in Bad Mergentheim and Öhringen until 1947 , after which he learned the trade of shoe and stockmaker , passed the journeyman's examination in 1950 and the master craftsman examination in 1952, as well as an additional examination as a master orthopedic shoemaker. In 1956 he took over his father's shoemaker's business in Bad Mergentheim, of which he had been a co-owner since 1952.

He was an employee in the self-administration of the craft, head master of the shoemaker's guild Main-Tauber , district master craftsman at the district craftsman Main-Tauber and there later honorary district master craftsman as well as member of the general assembly and member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce.

Reuter had been a member of the CDU since 1949. For 37 years, from 1962 to 1999, he was a member of the Bad Mergentheim municipal council . From 1972 to 1992 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . First he was directly elected in the constituency of Öhringen , from 1976 on he represented the constituency of the Main-Tauber state parliament . In the state parliament he belonged to the economic committee and the social committee.

Reuter was a Catholic and married, with two children from his marriage.
