Albert Wichert

Albert Wichert (born April 11, 1814 Frauenburg , East Prussia ; † April 23, 1868 in Konitz , West Prussia ) was a German mathematics teacher.

Life

Wichert attended the Kgl. Gymnasium Hosianum Braunsberg and studied from Michaelis 1834 as a stud. phil. Mathematics at the Albertus University in Königsberg . He joined the Baltia Corpsland team , which had its offspring from Catholic Warmia and was taken over by the Masovia Corps in 1840 . A portrait watercolor by “Lumpaci” has been preserved in Wilhelm Schmiedeberg's Blätter der Memory . After the exams and the probationary year, Wichert came to the Konitzer Gymnasium as a mathematics teacher. As a characterized high school professor , he died shortly after his 54th birthday.
