Albert of Trentini
Albert von Trentini (born October 10, 1878 in Bozen , † October 18, 1933 in Vienna ) was an Austrian playwright and writer .
After graduating from the Franciscan high school in Bolzano , Trentini studied law and then became a civil servant. As such he was active in various places in Tyrol , in Rovereto , Bruneck , Cles , Lienz and Bozen. In 1913 Trentini moved to Vienna and took up a position in the Ministry of the Interior.
He was best known for his novel biography Goethe , published in 1923 . In his stories and essays critical of civilization , Trentini pleaded as a staunch Catholic for a return to faith and true feelings.
