Alexander Jakowlewitsch Michailow ( Russian Александр Яковлевич Михайлов ; born  October 5, 1944 in Olowjannaja , Chita Oblast , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Russian actor .

Life

After completing his acting studies, Mikhailov worked at the Saratov Drama Theater from 1970 to 1979 , after which he moved to Moscow , where he worked at the local Drama Theater until 1985 and at the Maly Theater from 1985 to 2004 .

Mikhailov played the leading role in the film Mannspeople! .. ( Мужики! .. ), which won the Golden Bear at the 1982 Berlin International Film Festival .

Political opinions

Mikhailov supported Vladimir Putin's policy in the Crimean crisis and appeared in Lugansk in December 2014 , expressing respect for the internationally unrecognized Lugansk People's Republic . As a result, Ukraine's domestic intelligence service banned him from entering Ukraine for the next 5 years in February 2015 .

Private

Mikhailov is married for the second time. His son from his first marriage Konstantin (* 1969) is a radio announcer. When his daughter Akilina (* 2002) was born from his second marriage, Mikhailov was 58 years old.
