Alexander Waibl (2016)

Alexander Waibl (born March 20, 1968 in Stuttgart ) is a German volleyball coach .

Alexander Waibl was volleyball coach at TSV Bernhausen in Filderstadt and the TSV Georgii Allianz Stuttgart before 2007 coach of second division women's team from VC Stuttgart was. In 2008 he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga . Alexander Waibl has been the head coach of the Bundesliga team at Dresdner SC since 2009 , with whom he won the DVV Cup and the Challenge Cup in 2010 . After three runner-up championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013, Waibl led the Dresden women to the German championship in 2014, 2015 and 2016 . In 2016 he was also the coach of the Czech women's national team . After only 5 months, however, he gave up the office again.

Waibl lives in Dresden and has been in a relationship with the ex-player of the Dresdner SC, Stefanie Karg , since 2014 and has been civilly married since September 5, 2015 and church since August 2017. They have two children together.
