Alexandra Uhlig (born August 9, 1981 in Leipzig ) is a former German handball player .

Life

Alexandra Uhlig is the daughter of the GDR national player Petra Uhlig . The backcourt player moved from HC Leipzig to Bayer Leverkusen . In 2006 she moved to Thuringia HC together with the Czech Lucie Fabíková and her two former junior national team colleagues Marielle Bohm and Nadine Härdter . In summer 2010 she joined the HSG Blomberg-Lippe . After her leave of absence from HSG Blomberg-Lippe, she moved to the second division handball team BSV Sachsen Zwickau in early 2011. Alexandra Uhlig signed a contract until 2013. Then she ended her career.
