Alexandru Ion Vagner (born August 19, 1989 in Azuga ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with FC Brașov since September 2015 .

Career

Vagner's career began in 2006 with Gloria Bistrița . There he was only used twice in the first team in League 1 in the first half of the season and was loaned to FC Baia Mare in League II during the winter break . At the end of the 2006/07 season he had to relegate his team. He returned to Bistrița and was immediately loaned to Forex Brașov - again in League II. Here, too, he was able to assert himself as a regular player. After his return to Gloria in the summer of 2008, he was there only irregularly and in the 2008/09 season on eight missions. In the following season, too, the stakes did not increase. Vagner was loaned to FCM Târgu Mureș in the Liga II in early 2010 and made promotion with his new team at the end of the season . Subsequently, Târgu Mureş signed him. There he was regularly used in League 1, had to relegate with the club after two years at the end of the 2011/12 season . Vagner initially remained loyal to the club one league lower, but left the club in early 2013 for first division club FC Brașov . After only a few appearances at first, he became a regular in the 2013/14 season , and only managed to stay in the class with his team through the withdrawal of the FC Vaslui license . In early 2015, league rival CS Concordia Chiajna signed him.

In early 2016, Vagner was loaned to FC Brașov until the end of the season, which is now in Liga II. In August 2016 he was awarded again to Brașov - this time for a year. However, it was only used four times in the 2016/17 season . In the summer of 2017, he initially moved to Petrolul Ploieşti , but returned to FC Braşov in September.
